Speculaas as Easter Tomb Biscuits
3 cups plain flour 1/8 tsp baking powder
1.5 tsp ground cinnamon 1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cloves 250 g butter
1 tsp ground ginger 1 cup brown sugar

Lace Biscuits
- Usborne Chn’s Book of Baking
170deg C (340deg F) – 2 trays
In saucepan, on low heat:
75g butter, melted
off heat, add in:
75g oats 100g caster sugar
Sit for 2-3 minutes, then mix in:
1 egg 2 tsp flour 1 tsp BP
Put well-spaced on baking sheets.
Bake for 9-10 minutes until deep golden brown.
