Never Fail Biscuits


6 oz butter
1 c sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c flour
3 tbsp cornflour (USA: cornstarch)
1 c choc chips or raisins (even chopped crystallised ginger or nuts)
1 pkt vanilla instant pudding (we’ve also used raspberry!)

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat.
Add rest of ingredients.
Roll into balls and press with fork.
Put on greased tray.
Bake for 10-12 mins at 190degC (380degF)
Makes approx 50.
